A. New Region ‘Solene’ – New Dungeon ‘Chapel of Eternity’

An adventure into the 2nd Another World region ‘Solene’ begins.
Solene is a region where Iris goes on an adventure with GrandChase.
The ‘Chapel of Eternity’ is the ‘Memorial’ dungeon where Iris tells her back story to the members of the GrandChase.

Players will be able to see what happened to Iris in the Chapel of Eternity, why Iris decided to go on an adventure, and the trials that await the GrandChase.

1. Dungeon Entry Requirement

  • Players will be able to enter after clearing the [The Great Explosion of Kounat] in Kricktria.
  • There will be no daily or weekly limit on entry.
  • We recommend that players reach 300,000 Battle Power before entering.

2. Rewards

(a) New Anklet Accessory Equipment Added

A new anklet will be added that is available exclusively in Solene region. Players will be able to acquire and craft [Spike Anklet of Darkness (Eternity)].

How to acquire the Anklet
– Upon defeating the last boss monsters of any dungeon in Solene region, Players can acquire [Spike Anklet of Darkness (Eternity)] on a low chance.
– Players can also craft [Spike Anklet of Darkness (Eternity)] in Hero’s Bullion Shop by gathering materials in [Chapel of Eternity] dungeon.

Growth and Upgrade System
– Players will only be able to acquire 1 type of Anklet in [Chapel of Eternity].
– As more dungeons are released in Solene region, players will be able to use [Spike Anklet of Darkness (Eternity)] and various materials found in dungeons to upgrade the anklet to the next tier in Hero’s Bullion Shop. Details will be provided in a later announcement.

Anklet
The [Spike Anklet of Darkness (Eternity)] has the following properties.
– 2 Properties will be fixed and cannot be changed.
– Accessory Reinforcement through Gems is not available.
– Upon equip, activate special attack on a set chance.

(b) 10 New Monster Cards

– Upon defeating monsters, players can acquire new monster cards on a set chance.
– [Children of the Orphanage] Card can be acquired from the boss monsters of Solene Region.

(c) 1 New Title

– Upon clearing the dungeon, players can acquire a new title on a set chance.
– New title can also be acquired through the clear [Chapel of Eternity] 200 times mission.

New Skill Rune

– New Growth System ‘Skill Rune’ will be added.
– Skill Rune will provide stats that improve the character’s skills.

Skill Runes are divided into 3 categories: [Intensity/Insight/Swiftness].
– Players can equip 1 Skill Rune per slot, up to 3 max Skill Runes.
– The Runes are shared by characters and have different level requirements.

Intensity: Lv 86
Insight: Lv 88
Swiftness: Lv 90

– Skill Runes are divided into [Normal/Rare/Epic/Legendary] based on their values. The higher the grade, the better the stats.
– Skill Rune does not have tier levels or set effects.

The primary stat of the Skill Rune will enhance the skill of certain level.

Secondary Stat

– The primary stat of the Skill Rune will enhance the damage of certain skill groups.
– Each character has different lists of available secondary stats.
– The type of the rune (Intensity/Insight/Swiftness) does not affect what secondary stat players will receive.
– More details about the rune and the stats can be found in the Skill Rune Chance Guide Page.

Skill Rune Acquisition

– All Solene Region Dungeon Boss Monster will drop Skill Rune on a set chance.

Skill Rune Summon Box

– Players can complete new weekly missions that clears Solene Region Dungeons and acquire Skill Rune Summon Box.
– Players can also acquire Skill Rune Summon Box by purchasing the Skill Rune Package in the Special Shop. (Purchase Level: 90)
– Skill Rune Summon Box contains Skill Runes.

Rune Inventory Revamp

– Players can check out Skill Runes in the Rune Inventory.
– Skill Runes and Stat Runes will have separate tabs, allowing players to look at one set of runes at a time.

Skill Group Information Function

– While Alt Key is pressed, players can check the Secondary Skill Group Information on the rune.
– Players can check the detailed tooltip of the skill by hovering the mouse over the skill icon.

– Regardless of grade, Skill Runes have no secondary stats at reinforcement level 0.
– At levels 2, 4, and 6, the rune gains one new secondary stat per level.
– At levels 8 and 10, all existing secondary stats are upgraded.
– The primary stat increases at every reinforcement level.

Duplicate Secondary Stat Rules

– Duplicate Secondary Stats may exist in Skill Rune.
– However, up to 6 Secondary Stats will be effective for duplicate Secondary Stats.
– A player with more than 6 duplicate Secondary Stats will only benefit from the 6 highest Secondary Stats.

Reinforcement UI Improvement

– Rune Reinforcement UI will go through a revamp.
– MIN / MAX button will be added.
* MIN: Reset Darkstone Value to 0.
* MAX: Input number of needed Darkstone to reach 100% EXP.

Character Max Level Expansion
– Character Max Level will be expanded from 85 → 90.
– GrandChase has both Character Level and Chase Level at the same time.

Previously, completing “Lv.85 Unleash the Extreme” after reaching Lv.85 would activate the Chase System, allowing players to progress through the Chase System in place of leveling. However, this will be changed so that players can level both their Character Level and Chase Level at the same time through the ‘Character Max Level Expansion’. Due to this, the information on the transition from Character Level to Chaser Level will be fixed.

– Also, players can raise Character Level from 85 to 90 without opening the Chase System.


Character Selection Window

– Players can now see Character Level and Chase Level at the same time.

– Character Level and Chase Level Display will be adjusted.

– This change will be applied to various places where Level is on display.
– Contents with Display Changes: Main Lobby Profile, Internal Dungeon Level EXP Information, Dungeon/PVP Waiting Room, Dungeon/PVP Loading Screen
– ‘Character EXP Information’ and ‘Chase EXP Information’ in the Main Lobby Profile can be checked by going to [Settings] – [Game Settings] – [Main Lobby Account Information].

EXP Gain Improvement
– Since Character Level and Chase Level will grow at the same time, EXP Gain Information and Level Display will be active at the same time, allowing players to see everything in a single glance.

– Just like Character Level and Chase Level Display, [Character EXP (Chase EXP)] will be the format for the EXP as well.
– This change will be applied to various places where EXP is on display.
– Contents with Display Changes: Mission, Dungeon Sweep, Dungeon Result Window
– Once the max level of a character has been achieved, players can only go through Chase Level Growth just like before.

Additional Improvement

– Even if Chase System has not been unlocked yet, players can press the Main Lobby Profile to see the Chase System.
– Guild Members’ Chase Levels will be on display in Guild Information.
– The Level Requirement on Single Property Scroll will be removed.
– The Level Information at the base of the character in dungeons will be removed

Growth Progress Improvement

– Upon expanding the character max level to 90, growth order will be adjusted so that players can get to level 90 in a smooth way.

Epic Mission XP x2

Epic Mission EXP will be adjusted so that players can reach Lv. 85 upon completing the Epic Mission of the dungeon.
(1) Archimedia: Hammer’s Reach, Under Hammer, Thunder Hammer, Relics of Kounat, Zeruel Border, Zeruel, Kounat’s Collapse
(2) Kricktria: Siege of Teroka, Temple of Time, The Great Explosion of Kounat

Adjusted the Unlock Requirement of Wizard’s Labyrinth
– Unlock Requirement of Wizard’s Labyrinth will be adjusted from 80 → 85.

World Harrier Entry Procedure and Guide Changes
– The portal from [Kricktria] to [World Harrier] will be removed.
– [World Harrier] can now only be entered from [Aernas] World Map.
– [World Harrier] Guide after [Temple of Time] Dungeon Clear will be adjusted.

Cartoon Cutscene Changes upon entering Another World
– The cutscene upon entering [Another World] will now be on display upon entering [Kricktria].
– [Another World Dungeon Entry Ticket] will be renamed to [Kricktria Dungeon Entry Ticket].

Kricktria Region Dungeon and Mission Difficulty Reduced
– With the character level expansion and growth changes, the difficulty of Kricktria Region Dungeons and Missions will be reduced so that players can easily reach Level 85 and head into the new region [Solene].

Dungeon Difficulty Reduced
– HP for monsters that appear in [Siege of Teroka], [Temple of Time], and [The Great Explosion of Kounat] will be reduced.

(1) Siege of Teroka
– Number of Stages will be reduced to 5.

(2) Temple of Time
– Adjusted the spawn location of [Golem of Reversing Time] summoned by [Temple Guardian].
– Adjusted the spawn location of [Golem of Suspending Time] summoned by [Corrupted Saint Gaian].
Skill frequency for [Corrupted Saint Gaian] will be adjusted.

Other Fixes
– Fixed a bug where the Dimension Guardians’ Equipment and Accessory did not drop those for the current character.
– [Another World Dungeon Entry Ticket] will be renamed to [Kricktria Dungeon Entry Ticket].
– Changed so that players can acquire crystals upon defeating boss monsters of Another World.

< BUG FIXES & IMPROVEMENTS >

Job and Skill Mission Acquisition Improvement
– The difficulty of the mission and time needed to acquire a new job or the skill scroll will be reduced.

GP Mission Improvement  
– The condition for the missions purchased with GP will be adjusted. However, ‘The Double Dealin’ Dungeoneer’ will be excluded from this.
* Reduced the repetitive dungeon clear count needed to complete the missions.
* Expanded the level range needed for monster defeat mission and reduced the number of defeats needed to complete the missions.

Job and Skill Mission Title Improvement  
* Mission Item name and Mission Title will be adjusted so that players know which Mission Scroll item is registered.
* Mission Stage will also be on display so players can tell what mission is currently in progress.
* [GP], [VP] prefixes will be added so that players can tell apart GP Missions from VP Missions.
– Evasion Skill name and Tooltip Fix
* Inconsistency in Evasion Skill will be changed to [Quicksave].

Improvements
– Fixed the issue where MP Increase Scroll for Lime would appear as Unseal the 4th Bar Special – 1
– Fixed the issue where Extreme Skill Scroll for Lime would appear as Unseal the Special Scroll
– Fixed a bug where Ultimate Evasion I Mission would not be given upon creating Dio
– Fixed a bug where Unleash the Extreme Scroll would appear in a different format for certain characters

Auto Skip Function Added to Dungeon Cutscenes
– A function to auto skip cutscenes in dungeons will be added.

1) Players can choose to see the story in the Dungeon Waiting Room. If ‘View Story’ is set to OFF, story cutscene will be skilled.

2) ‘Skip Dungeon Story’ option will be added to Settings → Game Settings. (Default Setting: Unchecked)
– Upon creating a waiting room with ‘Skip Dungeon Story’ option ON, waiting room will be made with ‘View Story OFF’ state and story cutscene will be automatically skipped.
– Players can adjust the story cutscene ON/OFF regardless of the settings in the Dungeon Waiting Room.

Other Fixes
– Fixed a bug where pressing F7 under certain circumstances did not set the sound ON/OFF as intended
– Improved the warning message upon playing dungeon with Rune Inventory full
– Fixed so that upon using Rin’s skills, command input will be adjusted with the directional hotkey changes
– Fixed a bug where the passive skill [Command] Hanuman preview video displayed Asin’s Skill Video
– Improved the icon of Wonderland Coordi Lower Head Ornament and the appearance of Wonderland Coordi Upper Head Ornament for female characters
– Fixed a bug where parts of Mari’s Soul Taker Weapon Coordi did not spin as intended
– Changed so that [Special Command] Block / [Special Command] Block During Jump allows Lime to enter Super Armor state when Lime is in Fatal state
– Changed so that Lime’s [Special Command] Momentary Enhancement cannot be used when in Fatal state
– Adjusted the Skill Description Tooltip based on Skill Changes (Elesis’ Hyper Armor, Asin’s Strengthened Body, Lime’s Momentary Enhancement, Lime’s Block, Lime’s Block During Jump)
– Fixed a bug where Sieghart’s Soul Extinction did not benefit from 4th Bar Skill Damage Effect
– Improved design consistency for outdated UI

– Improved the appearance and drop sound of the loot box

– Added a box that exclusively drops Skill Runes
– Added an effect to the loot box based on the grade of the item
– Fixed a bug where Sieghart did not do additional hits when attacking after Quicksave in rage mode with [Equipped Effect] Mad Rage Lv.3 equipped
– Fixed a bug where Sieghart’s certain attacks did not do additional hits with [Equipped Effect] Mad Rage Lv.3 equipped
– Fixed a bug where certain attacks of Sieghart raised the rage gauge even in rage mode
– Fixed a bug where Sieghart Prime Knight (4th Job) would not move in the input direction after the attack if using dash attack with direction keys pressed
– Fixed a bug where Sieghart Gladiator (1st Job) rage motion would be canceled if certain inputs are made while using rage with [Special Command] Easy Breezy equipped
– Fixed a bug where Sieghart Warlord (2nd Job), Duelist (3rd Job), Prime Knight (4th Job) dash cancel could not be done in rage motion if [Equipped Effect] Mad Rage LV1~3 is activated
– Fixed a bug where Dio [Special] Necrotic attack range was smaller than intended
– Fixed a bug where an unintended motion would play out for Elesis Spearman (2nd Job) if dash input is made after attack top motion
– Fixed a bug where an unintended motion would play out for Elesis Savior (4th Job) if dash input is made after critical hit
– Fixed a bug where Ra’s Grand Canyon and Seth’s Pyramid monster cards could not be acquired from Gates of Alcubra Box
– Fixed a bug where Lire would have an unintended appearance if Celestial Helm is equipped in GP Shop
– Fixed an error in Edel Moon Slash skill tooltip
– Fixed a bug where Iris would have an unintended appearance if awakening skill is used with Fluffy Costume Suit Coordi is equipped
– Fixed a bug where the background image for Rune Equip Slot had an unintended appearance
– Improved so that Arbiter of the Forest Coordi Upper Armor did not overlap with the Lower Armor for female characters
