Ereb: Combat Mechanics and Gameplay
Ereb will soon join the GrandChase roster. Review his combat mechanics below to prepare for the update. Ereb wields a shield to execute dynamic attacks and counterattacks.
Use command attacks and skills to throw the shield and teleport across the battlefield. The shield operates as both a defensive tool and an offensive weapon.
Shield Guard Special Command
Use the X command to guard against enemy attacks. Guard with perfect timing to trigger a counterattack.
Press directional keys while guarding to generate shields and increase HP for your allies. Use evasion and other special commands from this stance.
Ruin Gauge
Ereb possesses the powers of ruin after the [Forgotten One] took over his body in the [Path Shrouded by Darkness] in Solene. He uses this power when necessary to protect his friends. Land attacks or perform counterattacks to quickly fill your Ruin Gauge.
Ruin Blade Mode
Summon the [Ruin Blade] to use exclusive commands once your Ruin Gauge is full. Ruin Blade activates automatically by default. Activate it manually after completing your Job Change. Build your Ruin Gauge with guard counterattacks, then swap to Ruin Blade mode to maximize your damage output.
Meet the blade command condition while in Blade Mode to activate [Apocalypse Blade], the signature attack of the [Forgotten One].
